I watched Amelie for the first time at University. I found the dvd in a charity shop for a few pence and thought it looked like a sweet film, since then its possibly been my favourite film.

In a time where our media has becoming more and more sinister from the news to newly released film and shows. Topics of sexual, emotional and physical violence, assault and abuse inundate nearly every type of media we consume. Being able to have the emotional cleanse and clarity of a film like Amelie is so rare but so cardinal for me, this is what I wanted to share.
